About Partnership with Kind Grounds
We consider ourselves a quasi-navigation center. A quasi-navigation center serves as a community respite during specific hours, a hub enabling connection to existing community services, and instruction for management of whatever stage in life hinders access to housing. Those experiencing such transition in their lives are welcomed to attend and be present.
Acceptance of mental illness, economic disruption, addiction, or other hindering circumstances form the nucleus of service provision at Kind Grounds. A fluid service provision based on needs as presented by each customer of Kind Grounds continues in development.
Kind Grounds will strive to serve as a hub for agencies within the community to work with their clients as needed at the facility. Each organization will be scheduled in an arrangement of access and service provision at Kind Grounds. Each agency is required to submit a MOU signed by an agency director seeking to arrange service provision at Kind Grounds.
All agencies are encouraged to coordinate the provision of services and scheduling with the Kind Grounds Program Director. A central calendar will be posted as developed. Kind Grounds will make a shared office available for individual assessment, counseling, or service provision as necessary.
We welcome all perspectives and all are encouraged to submit ideas towards making this program an effective component of rendering aid to homeless populations in our community and weaving together a tapestry of agency work towards ending homelessness in Wyoming.
